Pain in a bottle

Blair's 16 millions reserveCapsaicin is that chemical substance that makes spicy food spicy. It’s what’s burns when you eat a chili and it’s what makes you shit lava when you eat a genuine thai green curry.
Capsaicin is found naturally in chily peppers, it is rated based on the Scoville Scale. To get an idea, Tabasco sauce is rated a mere 2,500, it’s nothing, it’s like a when your badly shaved uncle kiss you on the cheek.
For example Jalapeno, the green mexican pepper can go up to 8000. But this is also a little girl dose of capsaicin if you ask me. The highest rating found in a pepper is 970 000 units, that’s the Dorset Naga variety, originated from Bangladesh.
Eat a raw dorset naga and you can kiss you inner self goodbye, you’ll shit blood for days afterward.
Above the Dorset Naga is pepper spray, which contains 5 300 000 unit.
So that’s must be it right ? Pepper spray in a can is enough to disperse dozens of people rioting, meaning pumped up with adrenaline which in theory augment your tolerance to pain.

Blair is a company that normally produce hot sauce. Imagine yourself running a business like that. All your competitor always comes up with something stronger.
Hot sauce amateurs knows about capsaicin and the Scoville scale and they’re always looking for the highest ratings since you can build up a tolerance to capsaicin fairly easily. Meaning the more you eat spicy food the less spicy it feels.
So to get your spicy fix you’re bound to look for higher capsaicin ratings. Now you can easily find hot sauce rating above the 500 000 mark. Some brand (Blair included) even released 1 million units hot sauce for the connaisseurs.
Basically the race for burning food doesn’t end. Or does it.
Recently Blair released a small limited edition vial which contains pure capsaicin crystals. That’s 16 millions units. You’ll have better chance surviving a shot of pepper spray in the nose than snorting a line of this stuff.
This thing is called the 16 millions reserve, it is limited at 999 vials and it costs 249$.
Seeing the face of your friend shitting their bowels in excruciating pain thinking this was salt. Priceless.
